MTC is committed to making our services accessible to differently-abled users, and the 511 Traffic Site was designed to be fully Section 508 (ADA) -compliant. Features of the site which demonstrate this commitment include:

• a text version of the Driving Times feature, optimized for screen readers.
• on the Traffic Map page, optional color schemes and textures for the benefit of users with limited color vision.
• redundant text links to supplement graphical menu items unreadable to screen readers;
• ?Skip Navigation? links that allow users with screen readers to bypass repetitive navigation information.
• alternate text image tags, readable by screen readers and browsers with alt-text function support.
